Role Profile
Cast UK are working with one of the UK's fastest growing retailers to recruit a Merchandiser to join their dynamic and close-knit team based in Liverpool to sit within the international team focusing on European growth. You will be given a number of departments to look after and reporting into the Senior Merchandiser, your experience in strategic planning, forecasting and FOB importing from the Far East will allow you to hit the ground running in this newly created role.

Once the European buying team have completed their selections, you will take over and key responsibilities include; WSSI / line card management, controlling the overall flow of stock from the supplier to the warehouse, all imports from the point of ordering through to delivery at the DC, controlling commodity codes etc. The role involves some travel to Europe where you will work closely with the merchandising team there, guiding them to allocate, set replenishment levels and input any suggested markdowns.

This is a rewarding, challenging and evolving role that is open to anyone at established Assistant Merchandiser level upwards, who is confident with a strong trading mentality and looking to join an ambitious business consistently growing YoY. Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes

• Currently working in a similar role within a retail head office
• Experience of FOB importing from the Far East is essential
• Strong trading mentality
• WSSI / line card experience
• Reactive, can adapt quickly to change
• Can cope with multiple tasks retaining a high level of accuracy
• Good level of IT ability, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Good numerical / analytical ability
• Enthusiastic team player
• Commercial mindset
• Planning and organisational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Hardworking and flexible attitude to work

Remuneration
Salary negotiable depending on experience + bonus
