Role Profile
Our client, a growing fashion retailer, is looking to appoint a Junior Merchandiser to join their growing and dynamic head office team based in the North West. This is a newly created role where you will undertake all aspects of merchandise planning and trading for their new online outlet business. You will currently be working as an established Assistant Merchandiser or Junior Merchandiser within a retail head office and have a strong trading mentality. As this is a new role within the business, you will need to demonstrate initiative to take ownership of this area, implement processes and drive the outlet business forward to success. You will be a confident self-starter with the ability to forge strong working relationships with other internal teams to push forward the agenda, whilst willing to undertake admin as well as more high-level analysis until the outlet business grows. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual, looking to make their mark in a new position and to be part of a close-knit and dynamic team.
Skills & Experience
- Ecommerce or off-price experience would be advantageous
- Currently working in a merchandising role within a retail head office is essential
- Strong trading and planning skills
- Commercially astute
- Analytical with a keen eye for detail
- Can work on own initiative / take ownership for area
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Enthusiastic, driven and confident
