Role Profile:
Cast UK are supporting one of our clients with the recruitment process of Road Freight Forwarder to be a part of their ever-growing team based in West Yorkshire. Reporting to the Freight Manager, you will be responsible for quoting, arranging and planning international road freight movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working as part of the Road Division you will be reporting directly to the Freight Manager for the designated markets
- Arranges transport in accordance with current agreement (eg. Agency agreements / Sub Contractors)
- Liaise with clients offering effective and timely communication
- Contribute to growing our business and developing new opportunities
- Communicates with our overseas depots and forms a good working relationship with partners
Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes:
- Have a positive attitude with a willingness to engage at all levels
- Microsoft Office
- Good numeric & communication skills
- Experience of working within Road Freight is required
- Strong understanding of Customs Compliance would be ideal
