Role Profile
Our client is a fast-paced business looking to recruit a Solutions Design Manager, specialising in Warehouse projects in their network. Reporting into the Head of Solution, this is a key role as part of Solutions team, providing a crucial link between the commercial and operations functions. Responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities
- To use sales, commercial and logistics experience to actively design, implement and promote Warehousing solutions for new and existing clients.
- To ensure that the commitments between company and its customers are properly executed through contractual arrangements in order to conduct business in a timely and cost-effective way.
- To lead all project and contractual aspects of a contract or business area to support operations and set strategies with the objective of minimising risks and maximising opportunities.
- Creation of detailed implementation plans that includes milestone deliverables and project update meetings at the appropriate points in time.
- Identification of risks that could impact successful project outcomes.
- To constantly search for, recommend and implement change and innovation to improve margin.
Key Skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Demonstrate experience of new business implementations.
- Commercially focused.
- Good problem solver
- Logistics modelling experience
- Skilled user of Microsoft Excel and Access.
