Role Profile
Cast UK are looking to recruit a talented Purchasing professional for a top channel services group, based in Chester. Due to the launch of a new UK division, self-driven professionals with a significant background in buying within a highly technical industry or environment are required.
Key responsibilities to this Buyer role include:
- Identify and negotiate the best supplier contracts, developing relationships at director level
- Monitor and develop business with new and existing suppliers
- Service the reseller's buyers on commercial aspects of their daily procurement
- Clarify individual buying issues between reseller and supplier
- Optimise procurement procedures and buying routines
- Identify potential products to put on own stocks
Skills & Experience
- A minimum of 3+ years of buying experience is essential
- A background and understanding of IT systems are critical
- The role will be independent so self-driven is a must
Client information
We provide a platform where members can retail their IT systems to other members. We advise and train them on marketing, best practice, new topics, throughout all areas of the business. Founded and based in Germany, this is the new start of a new UK division.
Remuneration
Salary between £40,000 - £50,000 alongside benefits such as a car and phone allowance, company pension, 24 days holiday alongside bank holidays and training trips to Germany.
