Role Profile:

Cast UK are delighted to have partnered exclusively with a key customer of ours as they look to strengthen and add to their management team as Branch Manager.

As a Branch Manager, you will be running an operational section of our client's business, overseeing the vast activity to ensure that they are meeting their customers' needs and pushing to exceed them at all times.

You will be dedicated to ensuring the workforce is engaged, well managed and perform to the highest standards against their business set key performance indicators. You will act as an advocate of our client's culture, values and safety standards. You'll also hold regular briefings and meetings with your team, providing them with a platform to suggest their own ideas to improve overall service standards to customers.

Responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Overseeing the daily site operations whilst taking full responsibility for the P&L - Control and improve depot efficiency through effective cost control, budgeting and setting of financial targets
  • Building and developing high performance teams on a large scale
  • Providing strong leadership and direction ensuring the business attracts, develops and retains talent across the operation
  • Building and developing strong relationships with key clients and ensuring the site meets current and future needs
  • Project managing business critical programmes that will significantly impact the performance of the site
  • Developing and deploying a site strategy that meets the business objectives
  • Drive operational excellence and best practice across the business
  • Play a key role in group wide initiatives and development projects
  • Ensure that the entire team within your site have clear and realistic targets and SLA's and are driven and motivated to achieve them at all times.

Skills & Experience:

The successful candidate will have Air Freight experience and a strong understanding of managing operations in a fast-paced environment. To take the business forward on their journey whilst developing your own career, you must have the gravitas and the ability to motivate and lead a team through your forward thinking and desire to continuously develop. Your aspiring management style must demonstrate an ambition to support and motivate others.
