Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting our client who is a growing Manufacturing & Distribution Business with the recruitment process of a Business Development Manager to be based ideally within the North West or the Midlands. This role is a Home-Based role with required travel to meet Customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect & win customers from the target list by finding and converting sales leads
  • Conduct your own market research to ensure that you are up to date with any market knowledge
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Continue to expand and grow all customers everyday spend, ensuring that they are always provided with the best possible Customer Service.
  • Nurture the Customers that you bring into the business into profitable accounts

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Strong commercial awareness - numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong Market insight is required
  • Proven evidence of success in new business
  • Experience and confidence of working with cold data
  • Ability to work independently and effectively at all times
