Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Shift Manager, based in Northamptonshire. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will oversee a team of Warehouse Team Managers within a busy Distribution Centre.
Key Accountabilities:
- Overall responsibility of the day to day management of the department which includes, but is not limited to, management of employee levels and performance, standards, reporting, cost control, stock loss and achieving KPIs.
- Ensure stock is picked and UK Retail, Digital and International deadlines are met in line with the Pick Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for managing the Team Managers (TMs) and Development Team Manager (DTM) and deputising for the Inbound Operations Manager when the role holder is absent from the business to ensure business continuity.
- Work in partnership with other departments and Distribution Centres within the network to ensure our service delivery meets customer expectations
Skills & Experience
- My client is looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within FMCG logistics or 3PL environments.
- Experience of site start ups would be beneficial.
- Comfortable leading a team of Warehouse Shift Managers in a busy enviroment, providing leadership and developing the team.
