Role Profile

Our client, is a fast growing e-commerce business looking to recruit a Distribution Manager to join their operation. Reporting into the Head of Logistics & Supply Chain, this autonomous role will be responsible for overseeing the whole transport function, whilst being responsible for the compliance, finance and recruitment on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Transport function including multidrop vans and a small trucking network
• Oversee the Transport budget and managing and 3^rd party carriers
• Ensure H&S safety and compliance regulations are adhered to at all times
• Building and maintaining relationships with multi-customers
• Meeting and exceeding customers' expectations
• Development of staff across all functions Managing performance issues such as disciplinaries and absence
• Experience of managing owner drivers would be advantageous

Required Skills & Experience

• CPC is desirable, however a strong knowledge of transport regulations is a MUST
• E-commerce distribution experience with final mile knowledge
• Health & Safety qualifications desirable
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Financially astute
