Role Profile

Our client, a 3PL partner have enlisted the services of Cast UK as they look to recruit an experienced, dynamic Finance and Admin Manager to be based out of their Peterborough operation. The Finance and Admin Manager will be responsible for the management of the Administration team and be the on-site lead for all Financial activities in support of the Site Management. The Finance and Admin Manager is a key member of the Management team working very closely with the Senior Managers in meeting and exceeding customer and internal expectations as determined within the business plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that the site implements effective and efficient management of all standardised financial systems and procedures in line with the Company's guidelines. Working with the Senior F&A Manager to align reporting with the rest of the UK&I.
  • Produce weekly and monthly summaries of financial information at contract and site level. Ensure the month end procedures are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Client reporting where required. Support the accurate and timely productions of management accounts and reports for the General Manager.
  • Work with the Senior Managers on site to analyse financial information, performance trends and opportunities to provide financial advice and guidance. Determine how best the insight from this work can be turned into real performance improvements in the business and innovation.
  • To Assist in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts. Challenge and support this process as appropriate.
  • Oversee the Admin team to ensure purchase requisitioning, ordering and invoice approval systems are used correctly so appropriate approval and accurate reconciliation processes are completed.
  • Oversee day to day input of financial information and administrative processes ensuring transactions are captured correctly. Seek to continually improve processes and streamline administration activity.
  • To promote, support and implement the sites continuous improvement program/s and ensuring costs / savings are captured appropriately.

This is a fast-paced Finance with the responsibility for both the Financial reporting and administration team. The successful candidate will have Ability to work on own initiative making empowered decisions where necessary. Ideally the person fulfilling the role will have a professional qualification (ACA,ACCA or CIMA). A background from either fashion or logistics is sought.
