Role Title

Logistics Manager - Essex based

Role Profile

My client is an established Transport company who is looking to employ an experienced Logistics professional for a brand-new role in their organisation. You will be responsible for Multi-Modal transport which includes Road & Sea. Experience in these areas is essential.

Responsibilities

Day to day management of the operation & people
Commercial responsibility for the depot
Process implementation, recruitment & coaching of staff
Short, Medium & Long term strategy for the depot
KPI setting & management with staff including appraisals
Ensure the depot hits its operational & commercial targets
Development of the team
Profit & Loss responsibility for the depot
Health, Safety & Maintenance of the site

Requirements

Prior experience operating at this level
Comprehensive understanding of Land & Sea transport operations
Excellent people management skills
A track record for success within your career
A strong background in change management
