Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Operations Team Manager , based in East Sussex. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will oversee a team of operatives within a busy Distribution Centre. This is a nights position working any 5 from 7.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and create an engaging enviroment encouraging your team to drive performance through a balanced approach.
• Train and monitor stock handling and work collaboratively with the wider teams to reduce damage.
• Ensure direct reports are leading required change throughout their teams to ensure intiatives are fully implemented and their teams are engaged throughout.
• Produce regular reports and stats on a daily , weekly and monthly basis.
• Utilise interpersonal and communication skills among various departments to facillitate a productive and collaborative enviroment.

Skills & Experience

• My client is looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within FMCG logistics.
• Great understanding of both warehouse and transport legislation.
• Comfortable leading a team of operatives in a busy environment, providing leadership and development to the team.
• Experience of fast moving multi drop food operations.
