Role Profile:
Cast UK are supporting one of our clients with the recruitment process of Road Freight Forwarder to be a part of their ever-growing team based in West Yorkshire. Reporting to the Freight Manager, you will be responsible for quoting, arranging and planning international road freight movements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of the Road Division you will be reporting directly to the Freight Manager for the designated markets
  • Arranges transport in accordance with current agreement (eg. Agency agreements / Sub Contractors)
  • Liaise with clients offering effective and timely communication
  • Contribute to growing our business and developing new opportunities
  • Communicates with our overseas depots and forms a good working relationship with partners

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes:

  • Have a positive attitude with a willingness to engage at all levels
  • Microsoft Office
  • Good numeric & communication skills
  • Experience of working within Road Freight is required
  • Strong understanding of Customs Compliance would be ideal
