Role Profile

Our client is a global manufacturing business in the Cheltenham area, looking to appoint a Demand Planning professional into their established team.

The main purpose of this role is to create a long term demand plan for the business whilst also supporting the development of robust demand planning / S&OP processes and an Integrated Planning Process (IBP).


Key responsibilities for this exciting new role will include:

  • Establishing an effective IBP process for the business
  • Identifying opportunities for process and system improvements within the Demand Planning / S&OP function
  • Establishing robust relationships with key senior stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy in to the IBP process
  • Supporting monthly demand reviews as part of the S&OP / IBP cycle
  • Hands-on data analysis to identify trends and insights that will support long term business strategies



Skills & Experience

This is a challenging role suitable for candidates that can demonstrate the following:

  • Significant experience managing S&OP and demand planning processes within a complex business
  • Previous experience implementing S&OP and ideally IBP processes
  • Good understanding of demand patterns and forecast models
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Passion for continuous improvements
  • Strong stakeholder management and change management skills with a proven track record of stakeholder engagement at all levels
  • Experience of SAP APO
