Role Profile
Our client is a leading business in their field. They are looking to recruit a high calibre candidate who will assist the Head of Security in managing all aspects of security and crowd safety, through the development and management of an effective control room and security patrol service.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective security for a large public estate Estate, ensuring the safety and security of all customers, staff, contactors and visitors.
- Assist in the development and application of the estate security strategy and policies.
- Demonstrate effective management of the outsourced security operations, providing operational control and direction for the service, quality control, continuous improvement and systems
- Assist in managing P&L control.
- Provide specialist advice and management in relation to crowd management
- Liaise with and coordinate emergency planning, including exercises, with the local authorities, emergency services,
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Strong communication & influencing skills
- Highly motivated with the ability to use own initiative
- Ability to develop excellent relationships at all levels
- NQF Level 6 qualification in Security Management
- NQF Level 5 qualification in Leadership or Management
- NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
- Nationally recognised qualification in Crowd Management
- IT literate with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
