Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting one of our prestigious clients with the recruitment process of a Shift Manager to be based out of their site in Birmingham. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a group of operatives and team leaders, running the full shift including overseeing goods in, put away, replenishment, dispatch and cycle counting. The role will involve the management and operational activities of the shift whilst maintaining working methods and system processes. You will work Monday to Friday on a rotational 6-2, 2-10 basis.

Skills & Experience

• The candidate will need excellent people management skills and a good analytical and organised approach to their work.
• Ability to plan resource with accuracy.
• Experience of managing KPI'S and achieving targets.
• A team player able and able to make firm decisions when required.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work other shifts to cover absent associates.
• IOSHH Managing Safely an advantage.
• Experience in handling disciplinaries.

The candidate will also need to have a proven track record in delivering customer service standard thorough operational continuous improvement and good knowledge of SAP WMS
