Role Profile
Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Site Operations Manager to work on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern on Nights, based in South Yorkshire. As Site Operations Manager, you will oversee the entire operation on the night shift and have responsibility of circa 150 employees

Key Accountabilities:

• Planning and coordination of detailed operational activities through First Line Managers, to ensure the required level of service is provided to the customer.
• Maintaining and improving performance levels to maximise efficiency of operation in line with account KPI's.
• Communicating at all times - holding regular organised meetings
• Supporting First Line Managers with counselling, coaching and the development of all employees.
• Ensuring that all requirements relating to safety, health, environment and quality are being fully implemented in the warehouse

Skills & Experience

• Excellent team management and customer relationship skills
• A background operating at a Senior Manager level is a must
• An understanding of Trade unions and how best to resolve any issues which may arise
• An analytical mindset with a good understanding of reporting and recording performance statistics
