Role Profile
A key leadership role driving best practice, customer service & supply chain cost management in the UK Business unit. Acting as figure head for all Supply Chain operations in the UK. A key member of the group Supply Chain team developing overall group strategies.
Driving the guiding principles of - Synergy, Marketing & Innovation, One Face to the Customer.
Change Responsibilities include:
- Support the transformation team involved in future operational change programme for 2019
- Define risk assessment and continency actions to minimise OTIF impact during transition to 3PL
- Work with other functions to minimise the impact of change on OTIF
- Communicate to other functions transitional plans and activities
- Maintain OTIF during possible dual running phase of stock transfer
- Coordinate inbound stock activities with outsource project and 3PL
- Liaise with distribution partners on changes during transitional phase
Operational Responsibilities include:
- Responsibilty for UK sales forecast : Interaction with Sales Director, Sales Management and Product Management functions to build sales forecast to drive efficient stock managment and industry leading OTIF
- Build strong direct customer contacts with key customer supply chain functions to enhance Customer value offered by the business unit and support forecast improvements
- Report key KPI's, UK projects updates, forecast accuracy, Group supply chain projects and customer interactions to UK Business unit
- Member of UK senior management team participating in future strategic business modelling
- Implementing Best practice supply chain models in line with UK and Group strategies
- Full budgetary responsibility of total UK SC operations
- Management of stock holding in line with defined financial and space targets
- Cross functional relationship mangement : Product Team, Sales, Finance

- Customer centric : understanding the role the supply chain plays in the customer experience and how it can be improved

- Experience of building positive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external
- Educated to Degree Level
- Formal Supply Chain/Logistics qualification desirable
