Warehouse Team Manager

Role Profile

Cast UK are supporting our client, who is a leading logistics business, in their recruitment process of a Warehouse Team Manager , based in Northampton. Reporting to the Warehouse Department Manager you will oversee a team of operatives within a busy Distribution Centre. Days and Nights positions available.

Key Accountabilities:

Responsible for the day to day management of the department which includes, but is not limited to, management of employee levels and performance, standards, reporting, cost control, stock loss and achieving KPIs.
Ensure Customer Promise deadlines are met and dispatches are in line with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Deputise for the Department Manager when the role holder is absent from the business to ensure business continuity.
Work in partnership with other departments and Distribution centres within the network to ensure our service delivery meets customer expectations

Skills & Experience

My client is looking for an experienced individual who has a proven track-record of working within FMCG logistics or 3PL environments or Retail.
Experience of site start ups would be beneficial.
Comfortable leading a team of operatives in a busy environment, providing leadership and development to the team.
