Role Profile
Cast UK are looking to recruit a Buyer for a brilliant company based in West Yorkshire.
This role is a Purchasing opportunity which will suit a driven and enthusiastic individual who has tangible cost saving experience and experience within supplier management. My client is looking for someone who has bought from suppliers overseas and can work in a fast paced environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Working with a team of buyers on projects creating group wide cost savings
• Responsible for a range of products, including electrical components
• Sourcing new suppliers and maintaining excellent relationships with current suppliers
• Agreeing commercial terms and long term contracts / agreements
• Ensuring best price is achieved and OTIF is complete
• Delivering cost savings to the business through appropriate procurement strategies
• Excellent relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have

• Purchasing experience and proven implementation in cost strategies
• Track record of working well with suppliers to deliver supply chain efficiencies
• Excellent communication skills with proven experience with supplier management
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel and MRP system
