Role Profile
Cast UK are working with a leading Yorkshire business who are looking for a passionate, proactive and confident Merchandiser to join there team. This is an urgent role for the business so is looking for someone who can start quickly. You will join the biggest department in the business and will part of a fun and fast moving team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful business and develop your skill set.

Key Responsibilities
Using data to optimise the sales volume and profitability
Budget planning
Controlling stock levels
Reviewing sales forecasts based on performance
Analysing and monitoring best and worst sellers, making informed recommendations
Recommending promotions
Monitoring and maintaining buying margin and gross profit margins
Provide data to enable informed decisions and planning
Building and maintaining strong relationships between the merchandising function and all other business areas to ensure goals achieved
Delivering key information at the right time, to the right people, presenting when necessary at high level meetings as requested

Skills, Experience & Personal Attributes
Merchandising experience is preferred
Understanding seasonal changes is key
Strong trading and planning skills
Reactive, with the ability to cope with the pressures of a fast-paced working environment
Numerate with a good level of IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel

Confident, enthusiastic and highly driven
