Role Profile

Emerging leaders in Air Freight Operations are in high demand for one of our global clients. Cast UK are delighted to present this fantastic opportunity for those who have extensive experience within air freight operations. A strong understanding within this sector is key, as this is the main vertical on site. The successful candidate will have had a strong understanding of the journey of goods (both inbound and outbound) within a busy, air freight forwarding environment.

This fantastic opportunity will give you the chance to demonstrate your quality leadership skills. You'll be responsible for a small team on site and ensure their performances meet and even exceed the company's business objectives. Organization skills are essential for this position, as you'll be tracking your team's performances and other tasks using Microsoft Office systems. As a result, skills in ICT and computing would be highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and arrangement of international export consignments according to client instructions and requirements
• Completion of export documents from start to finish including post flights
• Completion of export customs entry to be under various CPC's
• End to end monitoring of outbound movements
• Day to day invoicing and job costing
• Liaising with the customer service team to communicate and build relationships with overseas clients.

Essential Skills:

• Operational knowledge of Airfreight/Road freight- outbound
• Good ICT skills to include excellent knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
• Friendly, calm and professional manner
• Accustomed to working to fixed deadlines and under pressure
• Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated
• Well organized
• Ability to work closely with overseas network, commercial team and branches
• Flexible working hours may be required during busy periods
