Role Profile

Our client is a leading business in their field that are looking to employ a Regional Planner. The role is based in Kent and will be covering a regional remit covering parts of the south east. This is a highly fast-paced position and the successful candidate will have a tenacious work ethic and personality. A person who has the ability to challenge authority is sort.

Responsibilities

• Ensure region is fully supported for project volume across all depots, sub-depots & final mile network
• Be responsible for cost management which includes negotiating, rate tracker management, CPU, Flex targets, PRG & ad-hoc contractor solutions
• Be responsible for round management which includes viable structured rounds, splits & postcode discrepancies
• Ensure & delivery plans are for peak trading times & ad-hoc events
• Asset management
• Data analysis
• Managing the regional cover file

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Computer literate
• GCSE Math & English (equivalent)
• Previous experience in a similar role (Ideally extremely fast paced planning)
• Problem solving skills
• Customer focused approach
