Role Profile

As the exclusive recruitment partner for Bunzl Catering group, Cast UK have been instructed to recruit a Business Development Executive for their London Bio Packaging team covering the London area. This is a purely new business role in a sector that has huge potential for Bunzl hence they are now looking to recruit a highly driven candidate with the ability to foster new relationships across the region. The role will be field based and include travel across the network to customers. The Business Development Executive will offer an unrivalled consultative approach to working with customers with a view to gaining trust and long-term business.

London Bio Packaging is looking for a brilliant Business Development Executive to come and join the team. Working alongside the Head of Business, this role will allow you the freedom to work independently with as much entrepreneurial spirit as you can muster.
We are looking for someone who gets a buzz out of selling, who is super personable, can win juicy new accounts and look after our existing customer base in the food and catering industry. We'd like you to be energetic, have great interpersonal skills, and love dealing with people. You'll be highly motivated, organised and a self-starter who doesn't wait for direction. You will thrive from working in a fast paced environment and have lots of get up and go.

Candidates are sought who had ideally had some previous exposure to field sales. Experience across the hospitality sector would also be highly desirable. Bunzl will however be interested in confident, outgoing and ambitious candidates who have the ability to pick up this role. The ability to self manage your time is critical as is the ability to always put the needs of the customer first. Being able to add value to customers is essential, and you must be able to demonstrate how you have added value across multiple customers; both existing and new business. Basic Microsoft Office skills are required, in particular Excel. A tenacious, determined and customer focused outlook is what will serve candidates well in this process.

This is a field-based role that will involve travel throughout the Midlands and South, therefore you must be a self starter with the ability to effectively and efficiently plan your own diary.
