Role Profile
Our client, who is a leading FMCG manufacturing organisation, is looking to appoint a Continuous Improvement Facilitator to be based at their Birmingham manufacturing site and support the Lean Transformation Manager in the rollout of their LEAN programme. Your remit will be to develop, drive and deliver the site CI strategy through established process improvement techniques/tools and deliver substantial, demonstrable and sustainable cost reduction initiatives. You will be responsible for the following:
- Build relationships and influence site operational teams to deliver on site CI initiatives.
- Deliver site CI Cost saving targets via on site teams and external support as required.
- Deliver a range of projects across the site at agreed frequencies and targets.
- Assist in setting the agenda for and managing Continuous Improvement across the site.
- Updating and management of weekly CI report for site and senior operations team.
- Manage Savings calculations and tracker for the site
Skills & Experience
- Advanced understanding of continuous improvement techniques and proven experience of applying these in a manufacturing environment resulting in measurable performance improvement.
- Able to facilitate and influence senior leaders up to and including functional heads.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels especially with operations teams. Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Degree Level
- Numerate/ detail conscious, able to carry out financial appraisal for projects.
