Role Profile
Cast UK is working with a well-established business who are looking to expand their twilight stock control team by hiring a Stock Control Team Leader to be based out of their rapidly expanding operation in Greater Manchester. Reporting to the Stock Control Manager, you will be working closely with all operational departments to achieve a high level of stock accuracy coordinating their activities to meet set objectives. You will work on an any 5 from 7 basis, including 2 weekends every 6 weeks, across a shift pattern of 14:00pm-22:00pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the Stock Control Manager, working closely with all operational departments to achieve a high level of stock accuracy
- Motivating, engaging and coaching the team to achieve targets.
- Work cross functionally with other business functions including the Buying department and suppliers to ensure clear communication and informed decision making.
- Lead the replenishment operation to ensure the highest level of stock availability on the pick face.
- Identifying risks and formulating ideas to reduce them, making proposals for improvement and implementation.
- Maintaining product availability and high standards, while making sure that workforce remain engaged.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in stock control, ideally working in supervisory capacity in a fast-paced logistics/distribution environment.
- Energetic, positive, highly motivated and impart this on your team.
- Big emphasis on teamwork with hands on approach to stock control.
- Computer literate including Microsoft office and WMS/Stock control systems
