Specialising in set design, lighting, sound, AV, fireworks, power distribution and event production using the very latest technology with our own blend of creative input and experience to guarantee results that exceed our client's expectations.
With the Depot based in Uxbridge, the business is going through a period of sustained growth which is seeing an increasing number of new business enquiries from new and existing customers month on month.
Reporting directly into Company Director the Warehouse Manager will have the overall responsibility for the warehouse function overseeing work, organizing of teams & liaising with various departmental heads, as well as maintaining standards of health & safety, hygiene & security in the work environment
Key responsibilities of the Warehouse Manager will include:
- Planning, coordinating & monitoring the receipt and dispatch of goods
- Having a clear understanding of the company's policies & vision & how the warehouse contributes to these
- Keeping stock control systems up to date & making sure inventories are accurate
- Organizing the recruitment & training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress
- Motivating, organizing & encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met
- Liaising with suppliers and internal transport department whilst overseeing inventory, distribution of goods & facility layout
- Assist senior management to deliver key projects to enhance efficiencies throughout the warehouse operation
Skills & Experience
- At least 3 - 5 years managing in a fast-moving warehouse environment
- Experience of modernising a traditional warehouse environment using appropriate IT with Knowledge of computerised stock control systems
- Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety within the workplace
- Excellent Team management skills
